Pete the Pond Talk at our Annual Meeting

Linklater Pavillion, Lewes Lane, Lewes, BN7 2FG
Friday 10th October

6:15pm Doors
6.30 to 7.30pm a fantastic talk from Pete the Pond.
Tea break
7.40 to 8.40pm Annual Meeting.

Pete the Pond believes passionately in the importance of ponds to support wildlife. His team are working with Laughton Greenwood to restore our pond to full health. All ponds are fantastic incubators of the insects & animals we need for nature recovery – our woodland pond, big & small ponds, & those in YOUR garden!

Pete & his parrot were seen on TV’s Great British Woodland Restoration, with Sandi Toksvig. This Channel 4 show, included the restoration of Sandi’s ancient woodland, with Pete the Pond responsible for designing and building the pond, a waterfall, and a seating area.

Pete is an amusing speaker & can answer your questions after his talk. His talk will be followed by a round-up of progress this year in our local community-managed woodland. Come to meet our volunteer teams, hear about the ongoing project work at the woodland and get more involved.

All welcome! Children free.

Parking nearby is free after 5pm.
